Curbside Veterinary Service
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently offering curbside veterinary service. Only staff members are permitted inside the building. Our goal is to try to limit potential exposure to our clients, staff, and their families.
Upon arrival for your pet's scheduled medical or surgical appointment, please call us at (217) 854-4541 or text (314) 292-9442 to check in and remain in your vehicle. A technician will discuss your pet's needs or problems by phone when you arrive. One of our technicians will then come to the parking lot to escort your pet into the building for an evaluation while you remain in the vehicle. After Dr. Sandino or Dr. Reed evaluates your pet, you will receive a phone call to discuss our recommendations and a plan. Consent for diagnostics and treatment will be authorized by this phone call. Once the care of your pet has been completed, we will call to discuss the discharge process and payment may be collected via phone. Afterwards, your pet will be returned to you by the veterinary technician involved in his or her care.
For prescription medication refill or food pick-up at the clinic, please call ahead or text to allow us time to prepare the order. You may pre-pay over the phone. Please call us at (217) 854-4541 or text us at (314) 292-9442 whenever you arrive in the parking lot and we will bring the medication to your vehicle or can meet you at the window to the right of the front door. Please note, this includes orders for daily medications as well as food, flea/tick preventatives, and heartworm preventatives.
If you would prefer to order your Hill's Prescription Diet or Hill's Science Diet food, please call and speak with Katie to set up an account with Hill's To Home. There is no minimum order required and shipping is always free of charge. We encourage you to plan in advance if utilizing this option as due to the current situation, home deliveries may take longer than usual.
